My World Tuesday

Welcome to a new feature of my blog Called My World Tuesday. You can learn more about it at this link. http://showyourworld.blogspot.com/

I will introduce My World to any newcomers by telling you this...

I live in Maple Ridge which is included in the Greater Vancouver Regional District, Known locally as the GVRD. We are in the South West corner of British Columbia on the west coast of Canada, directly north of the USA boarder. We can stand on the beach and dip our toes into the Pacific Ocean while looking around at the Coastal Mountains.

Ill try to show you from the City of Vancouver, right out to the eastern most part of the Fraser Valley.

I hope you will enjoy coming to visit the GVRD.

Featured today are the flags of British Columbia, Of Canada, and that Of the United Kingdom , as we are part of the commonwealth.

Taken at Prospect Point in Stanley Park, Vancouver.

Thanks for stopping by!

Susan: What a really neat area of the world that you can show to us. I'm sure we are in for a beautiful treat from BC. I await so much more in the weeks to come.

Hi Susan! First off, I love the new look of your blog!

You know, I have NEVER been out to Maple Ridge and I think I must take a little driving trip to your corner of the GVRD.

I don't think there's any chance of us duplicating photos and it's going to be fun to see how you and I depict the GVRD - you in the NE part and me in the SW part.

This is going to be fun. :D

I love the west coast and once lived in Victoria as well as Aldergrove. My sister still lives out your way and provides me with a very good excuse to visit.

That is a good post. I sure miss the ways of the past when we could just drive back and forth into Canada. That easy travel is another thing we lost due to world terrorism. I'll be glad when they come out with the new driver's license- I really don't need nor want to get a passport. But I'd still like to be able to visit Canada and Mexico. Now to get back to flying.
