Happy Birthday MUM

Today is my Mum's birthday. I can't be with her today, however my thoughts certainly are. Love you Mum. This photo was taken last fall. Mum is the one on the right!
We also had Keith's Dad's birthday this week. And of course Troy, as I mentioned yesterday. My other Nephew Paul also celebrates another year this month.
Kayla, is holding her own and is hoping to get the chest tube removed this week. Her Dad who just got back from visiting a few days with her, said her lungs are starting to drain less fluids which is good. Once they stay clear then she may be able to make her drive out here to BC. Where she wishes to spend her time, as most of her family is out here. She did end up recieving a blood transfusion a couple of days ago as her hemmoglobin dropped to 84. I havent heard, but that should have perked her up a bit.
Tomorrow, Keith, his Aunty Valerie and myself are heading out to Edmonton again for a visit with Kayla. It was a gorgeous spring day here today, so hopefully the roads will be good for our drive through the Rocky Mountains. The kids would love to join us but they have school and other commitments which are keeping them here. Norman, Kayla's dad, will be staying here too. He will be helping to drive Kayla and her family here when she is feeling well enough to do that. We hope that will be next week.
I'll be in touch.

Happy Birthday to your Mum. I hope her day was wonderful.

Safe travels to you on your trip to Edmonton. Please give Kayla a hug from me, and I hope she is well enough soon to join her family here in BC.

Take care.

Happy Birthday to your Mum, and be careful on the road to Edmonton. Would you tell Kayla that I am thinking of her?

I'm glad that you clarified who is who in the photo although I think I would have figured it out, even though I have never met your Mum.

You should have had a nice drive over the mountains. Last Sat here was an almost summer-like day with temps in the high 70s. Then on Sun it was 30 degrees colder! We just got out electric bill for the month and the last month this year was a full 5 degrees colder than the same time last year in our area. We are supposed to take the RV across Stevens Pass to Leavenworth a week from Sun (on the 27th) and I sure hope it will be good road conditions then. They are talking about more snow up there this weekend.

Hi Susan, I hope your mother had a lovely day. How are you? I received the origami paper today thanks alot. I was amazed on how thin the paper is and on how much better the cranes come with this kind of paper. Thanks again.
