A Tale of Two Kitties

All these photos taken by our daughter Heidi. Shes logging in an average of 50 photos and videos of kittens each day so far.
The new kittens are settling in nicely. They play so hard. When they are awake, they never stop moving. I am sure having adopted littermates makes the transition easier for them. The siblings have eachother as the one familiar thing in the home. They always sleep cuddled together.

After they tucker themselves out they crash for several catnaps through the day. They are already sleeping through the night.
The dog has really taken to them. I think he thinks they are his babies. He loves to sit and watch them. But he wants to join in their rough play so we have to watch really close that he does'nt pounce on them. I dont think he would willfully hurt them, but due to the size difference, even a playful swat could be fatal.

Both cats have really nice dispositions.
The black and white one, Sasha, is a proper little cat. She rubs against our legs, she looks us right in the eye, she loves to come to you when you call her and doesnt seem at all shy.
Yhe gray one, Danny, Is more timid. He will always run and hide when you walk towards him. But he is a very exuberant playmate. He loves pouncing in the crepe paper that Heidi has put out for them to play with. Both of them are happy to be cuddles when they get sleepy and they purr readily.
Sasha has the most amazing whiskers They are white and very long. Also her eyes are changing to yellowy gold. Danny's eyes still have a blue cast to them. But his fur is lighter, so maybe his eyes will stay light too.
Sick of hearing about cats yet?
Heres a change of subject for you...When I got home from work tonight, Keith made me tea and his gourmet cheese on toast, with tomato, complete with fresh chives sprinkled on top!

AAwwww, it almost makes me want to run out and get a couple kitties of my own. Not gonna, though. Learned my lesson with my rabbit. No more pets for us. Those kitties are adorable, especially with your dog.

Okay, those are officially the cutest pictures I have ever seen. I used to have a little black and white cat, just like your little Sasha. Her name was Mrs. Jiggs, and she lived to be 22 years old.

(Your cheese and toast looks yummy. I think I'll go and make myself one...)

Cheers,
Josie

Susan, my sincere thanks to you and Heidi for all the cranes you folded on my behalf. After watching Herman's video, I was especially touched by all the time and effort that goes into folding just one bird. I felt the love in every one of them, and that means more to me than I can ever say.

The kittens are adorable.

We're enjoying our puppy and at the moment are also watching his mother and two brothers for neighbors that have gone out of town.

But the smallest puppy just hit 30 lbs and the biggest is almost 40 so they're becoming something to contend with.

Okay, I'm not a cat person, but you'd have to have an ice cube for a heart not to get all gushy looking at these little cuties. I mean really, they shouldn't be allowed to be that cute!!! It reminds me of puss in boots from shrek, when he puts his cute look on. lol
