You still bring me flowers

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose By any other word would smell as sweet."
--From Romeo and Juliet (II, ii, 1-2)

Tonight, he brought me flowers. I don't deserve them, haven't done anything special, nobody died, It isn't my birthday or anniversary. He just loves me. Every day is a celebration of our love. I am so lucky to have him. I should be the one coming home with flowers for him.!!! But then, flowers wouldn't turn his crank, me thinks perhaps.... A new tool or a nice jar of car wax. Now that would say I love you to a man.

The last few days, his spare time has been spent in our daughters room. Mudding, sanding and smoothing, in preparation for painting. He does the prep work and I do the painting, with lots of help from the girl, herself. I did all the cutting in and edging and she did the roller work, filling in the main part of the wall. Tonight we did two of her walls in in an ice blue called "sea water." Tommorrow I will finish the other two walls while she's at school. They will be done in "Chilled Melon" which is a similar green to a margarita. Its gonna look totally up-dated. Quite a change from the pale lilac she had before. I can't think of a better way to spend my days off. Next, Sonny boy wants his room doing in military shades of mud brown and deep deep green.... I dont think so!

That is love, flowers just because..hold tight those are far and few between but wait does he have a twin? Your daughter's room sounds like it is going to be beautiful.

Flowers? Hmmm have not done that in many, many years. What does that say about me. Nice touch.

Melon what? I just can't picture that color in my mind. Hope it is restful.

As far as I am concerned, you deserved them. Thank you so much for the prayers and the mention. I do so appreciate it.

Lovely flowers! I am so envious that you have that kind of man in your life. Lucky Lady!

The article I posted came from a Wayne Dyer yahoo group. There are some great inspirational, and thoughtful posts there.

Have a lovely Thanksgiving. Yes I remember yours in in October, but being American I always kept up the tradition for my family of November Thanksgiving. So usually we had two and can't argue with two turkeys. *grin* But I still wish my Canadian friends and family Happy Thanksgiving.

I can't think of anyone who deserves flowers more than you. What did dad and I do to help you turn out so beautifully. It was during your birth that I first called on God to help me, he was listening then and he is listening now. Thankyou for being who you are.
