HI Susan...great photo! I've actually been to Maple Ridge, and its a beautiful part of the country ..I really liked the dikes there. Thanks for dropping by my blog...and you're absolutely right about the screens..but our s'quiters start pretty early and stay quite late...though, not in winter...yet.

That's an absolutely beautiful moment Susan. It was nice having some sun several days ago.

About the swans: "I see the swans quite often in the Aggasiz area, is this near there? "

I am in Ferndale, WA near Bellingham. There are several hundred trumpeter swans in the fields near here. Its fun to hear them fly over the house everyday.
