Out back

This is Mr Frog and he is jumping for joy at being back out in the fresh air. I was inspired by this recent photo on Deanna blog.
So the other day. I cleaned up the back deck. Swept it and set it up ready for some summer sitting. I got the first few annuals planted. I love to have alot of flowers on the deck, I spend alot of time there in good weather. Coming soon is plants for the hanging baskets.
The windchimes, I leave up all winter as their tinkling notes are a welcome song all year round.
I need to put the humming bird feeder out too as I saw the first humming bird that day.
We lit up the barbeque and had some vegitarian mushroom burgers, boy they are so good. But I need new racks on the grill as these have rusted. I had to cook my burgers on a metal tray, but they still tasted good.
Are you anticipating summers arrival as much as me?

Yes, I'm looking forward to summer if we can get through all this rain and tornado warnings. I believe it's rained here every day for over a week now. We can't keep up with yardwork around here.

Oh yes, I'm SO looking forward to spring and summer. Already I have a new front lawn put in and this weekend we're going to look at some plants with a view to planting on the long weekend (Victoria Day). The daffodils and tulips are long gone already and now the rhodos and azaleas are in bloom. Also, I can see huge buds on the peony bush in the across-the-street neighbour's front yard. I may post some photos of my front yard after I get it all fixed up.

I can't wait to tget my forrest out of the house and into the sun where I know they will like it.
I have some planting to do outside to which shouild be fun now that the city dug up the yard and gave me a new slate to work with.

I bought a new clematis today, to go on the trellis at the end of my terrace. I can hardly wait for really warm weather, to sit out there. We're getting there....

Cheers,
