Wishes Do Come True.

WILDFLOWERS GROWING ON THE HILLS OF OLIVER

Great news!!!!!
Because my neice Kayla has cancer, which she has lost a leg to, she was given a wish by Make-a-Wish Foundation. They grant wishes to sick kids. (That is Kaylas photo in my side bar.)
Kayla wished to go to London to meet her favorite author J.K.Rowling of Harry Potter fame. Ms Rowling requests that any child wishing an audience with her submit a letter stating why they want to meet. Hundreds of kids have written to this highly sought after woman with the same exact wish. But never before have any children from this foundation been granted their wish. Kayla wrote her a very long heartfelt letter about how immersing herself in the fictional Harry Potter world helped her go on when life got really scarey, and how she aspires to be a writer.
Well they heard a few days ago that JK has replied in the affirmative and Kayla and her family will be flown to London in July to meet the author herself. What a wonderful opportunity for Kayla. I know this will mean the world to her. This is a dream come true and gives Kayla something so possitive to focus on after such a horrible year.
Thank you God!

Yes Thank you God--, This is such wonderful news. J.K.Rowling has a special place in my heart and has been for sometime as she is a very big supporter of MS charities. Her mother had MS so it is something very near and dear to her which is one of the many reasons she focuses on that as her major charity. I am so glad she was able to see what her writing did for Kayla and she chose her to be the first child she will meet from the Make A Wish Foundation charity. Prayers are answered and Dreams do come true.
