This shot was taken in my back yard as the snow was starting to melt. This drop was clinging to the end of a forscythia petal. In it, you can see the reflection of our willow tree, with snow on its branches.
Such a beautiful little moment in our enormous world.
So tiny and irrelevant in the larger picture of things. If I hadn't gone out into the yard at that moment, I wouldn't have seen that glistening bead. Nobody would have. Yet, this droplet of water and billions just like it, are the basic building blocks of life. Such an essential part of our very existence. It is such a miracle how such fantastic events like this droplet forming and reflecting, occur right under our noses, for the most part, unnoticed. The Great Creator of the universe, has drafted many a great work, for our enjoyment, should we take the time to notice it.

INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it! I love the reflection in the drop too. Thanks for sharing it.
Have a great day! *HUGS*
An example of a good eye for "seeing" a photo. Good job! I enjoy macro and closeup photography. You can show and/or isolate things that are usually not noticed.
That was just beautiful. THANK YOU!
What a great picture. And right on about the miracle of our world Susan. No snow here but it's blistering cold again. Love it! :)

Just a beautiful photo. And such a precious moment. I absolutely love the reflection in the water droplet. It never ceases to amaze me the wonder that can be found in our own back yards.
Gorgeous catch.
Very nice shot. Love the reflection. Thanks for sharing it.
That is amazing. I wish I had an eye for that, and could capture it as well as you. Thanks for reminding how beautiful the world is...right in our own back yards.
You have such talents both in photography and in writing Susan. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I just love what you are sharing with us here.
Come to think of it, I think you should do a photography/poetry book...I'd buy it.
Beautiful picture, and well said.
Beautiful!
Thanks for stopping by.
