Foot in the Door

The view from our kitchen window yesterday.
The sun glistening on the Golden Ears Mountains.

WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME.

So this is our new place? It's nice enough. But it is still a little bare. It needs a lot of personal touches to make it our own. It may take a while for us to learn our way around and to figure out how all the gadgets work, but with help from a certain cowboy , we should get it all figured out before long. The old place (MSN SPACES) was really comfy. We were so happy there and had everything set up so cozy and homey. It was easy to get around and we had made the place lovely to be in. There was only one thing that we didnt like about it, and that was , that we did not get many visitors. The owner of the place insisted on visitors having a special password to get in. Many of our friends didnt have the password, so visiting was too much trouble, so we were getting kinda lonely and feeling left out. So now in our new digs, there is easy access. We have moved closer to you so now you can pop by anytime. We'll leave the porch light on and the kettle is always ready to pour. Be warned tho, if you forget your thermal mug here dont expect to find it next time you come... they have a habit of dissapearing around here. We already have been nicely welcomed to the neighbourhood by Joe, Vicki, and FTS. Thanks for the warm reception. OHH by the way... Could I borrow a cup of sugar?

Welcome to your new home. I've been thinking of leaving Spaces for the very reasons you have mentioned. I'll have to look into Blogger and see if it's hard to use.
