On Saturday our nieces, Lexie and Tasha were performing in the Gilbert and Sullivan performance of Pirates of Penzance. It was a youth musical put on at the ACT theater. The girls really seemed to enjoy the stage and we enjoyed the show. They all did a wonderful job. Unfortunately we were not permitted to take photos so I have borrowed this picture from the TIMES paper. Lexie is 2nd from the right in brown. Tasha was not in this photo.

On Friday, we had an afternoon out at White Rock.
I go back to work soon, after a 6 week recovery. I am disappointed in the dreadful weather we have had over my little reprieve. Watch it get sweltering hot the minute I get back to work!!!!
On Friday, we had an afternoon out at White Rock.
When it is raining here in Maple Ridge, it is quite often dry or even sunny out there. It was fairly overcast most of the day but the sun did come out for a couple of hours. We lay on the beach snoozin and reading. 
There were lots of people out crabbing and fishing from the wharf. There were millions of tiny fish under the pier, the water was silver with them all.
