Heidi and I spent the day at the beach.

I love these sunny fall days! The light is so diffused. Far out on the water, the mist hung in the air all day. The sun was catching on the ocean, making thousands of little sparkles glimmer like a school of little fish!

The main road runs parallel to the beach. Opposite the beach, shops and cafe's line the road. We had lunch on the patio of Cosmos Greek Restraunt. Sat there, we watched the traffic. Motor bikes and sports cars, vintage vehicles and pedestrians parading past us.

It was nice to spend time just us girls. She doesn't mind strolling along hand in hand. She used to be able to curl up inside this sculpture... bit of a tight fit nowadays.

You've given me a great idea. It's been so long since I've spent a cool day on the beach. I think I'll surprise The Missus sometime this winter with a day like this. Thanks for the pictures and video!

Looks like you had a nice time at the beach in White Rock. I had a few outings with James and his brother who is visiting.

I hear you've been having very warm weather in BC. Looks like a gorgeous day. Nice to be able to spend time with your daughter. They have so little time.

Isn't it nice that your daughter isn't embarrassed to have parents? Alicia's the same way. She's always enjoyed hanging out with her mom, and I love it too. It does look like it was a nice day, but I've been finding that breeze stinkin' cold! In the sun it's still nice, but as soon as I get in the shade, I feel chilled to the bone. Brrrrrrr Summer is definitely over.
