The flowers in my garden this year are a couple of weeks behind, due to our extended cloudy,cool spring. However, they are in full bloom now and are amazing. It is as though they are making up for lost time by increasing the ammount of blooms! Everything is so abundant and lush! I am happy they are late, so I will have lots of flowers for our party this weekend.
Heidi planed some vegetables, she likes to garden edibles! She is away just now and the first crop of snow peas is ready. ER , well it WAS ready. You see they have been eaten now! Sorry Heidi, but more are growing. Despite these weird faces, they were very tastey!
The radio, is announcing an AMBER ALERT for a 10 year old girl abducted from the area. It is so sad that these things happen and I hope they find her ok. I am thinking of her and her mom, she must be going out of her mind with worry.

I can receive the CBC 6 o'clock news and I am watching the report about the missing 10 years old girl Shyanne Dawn Carto. These awful things happen everywhere in the world. I hope she will be found alive soon.
The flowers are lovely, and the veg. We don't have amber alert here, but my heart goes out to the girl and her mother. We are having a spate of knife crime, especially in the big city. A lot of the victims are really young.
