OBITUARY

Sadly, we will not be attending Kaylas Roman Catholic funeral. We have drained the bank with all our visits to her over the past couple of months. I don't begrudge one penny of it, and I am glad we spent the time with her while she was alive. I'll be thinking of her on Saturday. Her Dad, who lives here in BC, will be bringing her ashes home with him. We will have a memorial here shortly for all those in this province to say their goodbyes and get some closure. Then she will be interred in Surrey,BC beside her Gandmother, as Kayla had wished. The following is her obituary, please feel free to make a comment in the guest book if you would like.

The time you all spent together will remain with you forever.
I will pause tomorrow at that time to remember her smile.

Today, is Kaylas cremation and I send her this prayerwe all know. And I hope This prayer will be heard in Heaven.

ONZE VADER

OUR FATHER in Dutch

Onze Vader, die in de hemel zijt,
uw naam worde geheiligd.
Uw rijk kome,
Uw wil geschiede,
op aarde zoals in de hemel.
Geef ons heden ons dagelijks brood,
en vergeef ons onze schuld,
zoals ook wij aan anderen hun schuld vergeven.
En leid ons niet in bekoring,
maar verlos ons van het kwade.

Amen.

This is my first time at your blog...I'm coming from Chas at a Sugar and Ice. And as I saw Kayla's picture, I thought "Oh, she looks like a girl I used to know." and then as I read the obituary I realized that I did know her, she was a few years ahead of my daughter in elementary school and I sat on parent council with her mum. I am so sorry to read this, my thoughts and prayers are with her family.
