Light a Candle for Kayla

Thank you for all your ongoing love and prayers.
We have returned from Edmonton and are safely home now. I dont feel much like writing just yet. I just want to bask in my memories for a while. I did want to pass on this link though, that was sent to me in an email from Kathy Bell.

It is a site called light a candle, where you can go to light a candle for Kayla.
Click here to light a candle for her.

I will make sure her family all know about it so they might get comfort from your support.

I'm heartbroken, Susan! I'm so sorry for your and Kayla's family's loss of such an incredible young lady. I'll never forget her and will keep her photo on my blog, which means she'll always have a special place in my heart.

May she rest in peace and her spirit soar. I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers for peace and strength. Lots of hugs!

I've just come over from Walker's blog after reading his beautiful tribute to Kayla. She was obviously a very special young lady and I would like to express my deepest condolences to you and all who loved her.

Another candle lit; another angel watches over us.

Again, condolences to all of you, but there is a degree of comfort in the knowledge that Kayla is at peace, and now looks out for you, as you all looked out for her.

I come from Michael's blog. Although I didn't know about Kayla until now all parents feel the love for all children.

I wish you all peace.

I will light a candle for Kayla. She is an unforgetable girl and will be sorely missed. If you email her parent's address, I'd like to send a card.

I am absolutely stricken with grief for everyone! I am so so sorry for what Kayla had to endure. My sincere condolences to her parents and all her family and friends. I have followed her path for quite a long time and have prayed for a miracle. I guess the Lord felt otherwise - for a reason only He knows. But she is at last at peace, whole again, and happy in heaven. May she be an angel who will watch over everyone. I will now go and light a candle for her. Take care, Susan.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the beautiful Kayla. We all need to light candles because her loss extinguishes a large light.

Rest in peace sweet Kayla.

No words can express the grief her parents, brother, family and friends must feel.
May God give you comfort in this sad time.

So sorry to hear about Kayla. She really fought the good fight. You know, people die all the time, but few die as young as Kayla - that was the tragedy of it. Then again, few die with so many people loving and supporting them either - and that was the miracle of it. As hard as this must have been, she couldn't have doubted she was loved.
