Web

So fragile. So much work to create this thing of intricate beauty. low in the grass, covered in frost which sparkles like diamonds in the morning sun.
Much like the journey of each individual human life, which is woven into something so miraculous, each web and each life is unique.
As I knelt in the morning sun to take this shot, I gave thanks to my creator for all the beauty of the world I live in. Then a big yellow lab ran over and almost landed me on my bum in the wet grass!

I'm always amazed when I see how strong a web is. For such a small thing it can hold a lot of water.
Nice picture Susan.

At least the lab didn't end up with web all over his/her nose.

Amazing how beautiful an everyday thing can be when you take the time to look at it up close.

The world is full of such beauty and not enough of us notice it. You certainly do..

That is gorgeous. I have never seen anything like that.

Thank you for catching that shot and sharing it.

The labrador is a good dog, they always walk towards you, so not easy to photograph. at least the web stays still for the shot.

This made me think that life like the web is strong yet so very fragile at the same time.

That's a beautiful shot, Susan! Loved your video of the snow - it's supposed to snow again tonight, but it's been SO cold the last few days!
