Entwined

I have been blogging for some time now, well over two years. During that time I have been honoured to have met some wonderful people through their blogs. Some have come and gone, but some have been constants.
Like this tree, the Blogosphere is a place where many of us have attached ourselves. We are like vines who have become intertwined. Now we are all wrapped up in each other.
MONICA is one of those people who's' blog I have read almost daily for most of that time. I have gotten to know her and her family through her wonderful descriptive writing. She has been there for me in my crisis and for many other blog friends in times of need, with words of encouragement and offers of prayer.
I now have a request for a few prayers and some positive energy to be sent to my friend Monica. I just came from her blog. She is very concerned about her daughter Julia who has been experiencing what could be symptoms of lymphoma.
The reason she is so worried is that it runs in her family. A few years ago, her older son battled this very illness. Any mother would be beside herself thinking a second child could be attacked by this same monster. Julia is having tests done today and we will know by Thursday if it is anything serious. If you have a minute to say a prayer or to stop by and just tell Monica that you are thinking of her and her little girl. I know it would be a big comfort to her to know people care.
Monica is the same lady who started the Circle of Prayer for my niece Kayla during her battle with Osteosarcoma. I know without a doubt, that the many prayers and kind thoughts Kayla received last summer made all the difference in her recovery.
So Monica and Julia, I am sending my thoughts and prayers out for you.

Well she's got my prayers, Susan. I wish Monica and Julia both good health.
I've been getting behind in my reading, so I had to read your last few posts all at once. I loved your last one at the beach. The photo of the footprints is precious as well as the little girls with the reflexion. really cool. Sometimes we just fluke into those ones. Your photos always rock, though. Your daughter looks so cute standing there in the water.
anyway, again, all the best to monica and Julia. Take care!

Thank you, Susan. You don't know how much it meant to me to come here and see this. I do believe she's going to be okay. The hospital did call and ask that we go back again for another test but I'm still optimistic. :)

You know, the connection that all the bloggers have through the Internet is quite amazing. It is definitely a positive force. I don't know Monica or her daughter, but I will say a prayer for them.
