35

Today was Keith's brother, Mike's birthday. Seen here with their mom. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE. He's 35 today. He is eight years younger than Keith.
Keith always had a fondness for his little brother. He looked out for him when they were kids. Warning off bullies when Mike was an awkward , chubby kid in glasses. Becoming a scout leader so he could be "in Scouts" with Mike. Helping him with homework, helping him learn to drive. The Best Man at his wedding. He flew to Regina to see his graduation ceremony from the police academy, and he was SO PROUD of him. And continues to be so proud of him. Though mike is all grown up, he will always be Keith's little brother.
We have a barrage of birthdays coming up. In a family this big, there are a lot of birthdays. The family has grown so large, that it is impossible for us to celebrate every one individually. We tend to clump a few together for celebrating. Soon it is Keith's dads, my Mums, and several nephews birthdays.
We will soon do a get together for our spring birthdays, maybe combine it with Easter!
The Canucks gave Mike a special gift tonight. They beat Colorado 3-0 to clinch a playoff spot. We are first in the Northwest division and third in the Western Conference. Can you say HOCKEY IN JUNE???? Going all the way. Just especially for Lil' Mikey!!!!

That's so sweet that Keith was and is such a great big brother. Very supportive. Mike is lucky to have someone like him in his life. And for someone who started out awkward and chubby, he sure is a cutie pie now!

Happy Birthday, Mike! Who do you know that has a birthday in June? That would be a great birthday present for them, to see the Canucks win the Stanley Cup...!

Happy Birthday to Mike. My son, M, is also a policeman at a town near where I live. And good luck to your Canucks team.

That is so great that brothers can be that close. I didn't have any brothers or sisters so they are lucky to have each other.
