A comment from Kayla.....

Hello fellow bloggers onlineThis is Kayla, the niece you have been keeping in your prayers and rooting hard for. I just dropped by to say how much I appreciate all of your kind wishes and thoughts and how I was absolutely over whelmed when I recieved papers and papers of messages from all over the world, never mind, the country!!! ^_^ It made me so happy to see the response from people and it totally gave me the boost I needed. ^^ Thank you, every one!! I am most grateful!! Cancer has touched every individual in one way or the other. No matter how hard you struggle to avoid it, it manages to infect even the purest soul. =( But you know what? That's the thing with hope and faith. It never lets the darkness corrupt. It fights it until the very end. And even when fighting seems like the very last thing you'd want to endure any longer, even when the pain seems so undurable, innerly and physically.....You fight it. Why bother? It's the only way to survive. Life has much meaning and I plan to decipher it through this battle. I promise you I plan on coming out of this as a gleaming champion because there is no way in hell I am letting a stupid, insignifigant tumor take me!! *kills it with sword* MUHAHAHA! DIE tumor!! ^__^ I may not look the same as I did before, but then again, I don't think the same either. o__O Funny how that works, yes?

Boy that sure touched me. She is an amazing girl. She left it in my comments for my last post.

MEET MY DAD.

We are back from our trip. Safe and soundly home again.
Many, Many thanks to all who left your kind thoughts for our neice, Kayla. She very much appreciates your kindness and prayers.
While we were away, our good friend MONICA was taken ill. The lady who has been so generous in her support of Kaylas recovery, has her self, been hospitalized for a stroke. She is home now and doing better. If you haven't had a chance yet, go see her now with your best wishes.
I have lots of photos and journaling to share about our trip that I will upload in several posts. But first, Meet my dad. I have mentioned him here occasionally. His name is David. Here he is, with my son David (just guess who he was named after!) and my gal Heidi in Dads driveway. This was taken the morning we left his place to head for Edmonton. As you can see he lives in a beautiful place, surrounded by orchards and mountains. Oh, and that is his lab Lucy.
Dad has just started up his own BLOG. I would like to invite all my regulars to pop by his site, OUTHOUSE CAPITAL OF CANADA, and please give him a warm welcome to the blogosphere. A warning for my American readers, he is very vocally, anti- Bush. Dad speaks his mind and may stir up some animosity with his out spoken opinions. Mind he is not saying anything nice about the Canadian government either!
I need to get groceries an unpack our vacation baggage. Ill post more later.

You're a Champion already keep on fighting until you win.
Cancer can be beaten and the call goes out everyday DIE tumor!! and everyday the battles are one.
You are one brave young woman.
Kayla and Monica are proof that age and good health are no reasons not to be aware of the possibilities of something happening to you.

Kayla seems like an amazingly strong young woman, she is facing a terrible thing with strength, determination and faith.

I will continue to pray for her.

And I am glad Monica is better, I wish I would have known sooner, she is such a good friend to so many, myself included.

Welcome Home. That message from Kayla rocks. What a smart person.

I will be heading over to you Dads. I love the outspoken types. Especially if we share the same opinion lol.

Hope you are doing well.
