Macro Monday and Bunny Ears

We head back to work for a short week. The kids have a super short week as they already get friday off for a pro D day. Wish I was only going to work for three days. Having had four days off, I have gotten used to the home life.

Yesterday, I bundled the kids into the car, and headed to Vancouver. Dropped the boys off at the Vancouver Masonic hall for their DeMolay (boys youth group) practice. Heidi and I continued on to the airport to pick up Keith.
Being that it was Easter Sunday, Heidi and I thought we would greet her dad in a manner befitting of this special day. When dad came into the baggage claim area, we ran up to meet him wearing bunny ears! Sure we had a few funny looks thrown our way, but it made our day! I love the airport. Watching the 'Kiss and Crys' and the 'Meet and Greets' is always good entertainment. I like the native art on display there too.
We went for a nice sushi lunch, then went to the hall. The boys' group made an excellent presentation for the Grand Master. They made us very proud with their excellent memory work and crisp floor work. As we sat on the sidelines, I had to continually remind Mr. Hubby to watch his hands and remember to behave more appropriately. It wasnt hard to tell he was happy to see me! Lets just say that since he got home, he has been happy to see me more than once!!!!!

Ok, here's my MACRO. Completely unrelated to the rest of the post, but there you have it.

What is it ?

A closeup of a basket? Macros will be the subject in two months at the camera club I may join. I will have to decide if I want to try to take something new or use one I already have. I guess that is an advantage of being new to the group. Everything I have is new to them so even if it is two years old they haven't seen it yet.

I'd guess nails.

Glad Keith got home safe and sound and was greeted by his bunnies.

I agree with Sara, long grain wild rice. Glad he got back safe and sound. I hope and pray for Kayla's recovery.

Hugs, love and prayers.

Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. :)

I'm guessing wild rice? Very cool though, it looks like wooden pics of some sort at first glance.

Have a great day!

I'm voting with Dick on this one, a closeup of a basket...looks like the weave and it was just Easter. :)

I enjoy airports for it is a very nice place to people watch.....and you see all things in Atlanta's airport so it is my favorite to be in.

Bet we know who has a very BIG SMILE on her face...yes you.
